CoReAct

The CoReAct co-production platform provides an opportunity to promote Armenian short animated films, feature-length animated films, and animated series projects. Participants will have the chance to meet and present their projects to international producers, and the winning projects will receive financial support and the opportunity to work with international co-production companies and producers. The CoReAct platform was launched in 2023, during which winning projects were already selected. This year, our international producer partners will be joined by representatives from Netflix, Cartoon Media, and the Eurimages fund. They will serve as expert evaluators and jury members. The goal of the CoReAct co-production platform is to develop pitching skills, encourage international co-productions, and provide opportunities for young talents to present their ideas to industry professionals. For this reason, this year, all selected projects' creative and production teams will participate in a workshop led by Diana Hentulescu, co-founder of Moukda Production. Diana has produced numerous award-winning films and managed well-known projects in collaboration with France Télévisions and Disneyland Paris. She will prepare all participants for their pitch presentations and guide them in creating successful pitches. Additionally, this year, we are offering our diaspora artists the opportunity to present their projects on this platform, and we welcome their ideas. We are also expecting guest projects from abroad, which already have Armenian co-producers or intend to find new collaboration opportunities through our platform. Given the fact that the animation industry in Armenia is actively developing, and more and more young creators are eager to realize their ideas but often lack sufficient production skills, we are negotiating with several international producers to conduct professional masterclasses. These masterclasses will be aimed at Armenian producers and young art coordinators who are interested in starting work on animated films, thus helping young talents enter the international arena. The festival will kick off on October 20th and conclude on October 26th. The platform's activities will begin on October 21st. The training sessions will take place on October 21st and 22nd, while the project pitching and one-to-one meetings will occur on October 23rd from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The project awards ceremony will be held on October 24th at 6:00 PM.
